Lab Technician 82/83

A lab technician performs scientific and experimental procedures, such as running tests on body fluids like blood and urine to help diagnose diseases. They maintain and operate laboratory equipment, record data, prepare samples, and ensure a safe and clean work environment in settings like hospitals, clinics, and educational institutions

• Perform tests and analysis: Conduct routine and complex tests on specimens like blood, urine, and tissue.
• Operate equipment: Use and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including microscopes and automated cell counters.
• Record and analyze data: Accurately record test results, enter them into patient records, and sometimes prepare graphs or perform calculations.
• Specimen and sample preparation: Prepare samples and specimens for testing.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness: Follow strict safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and properly dispose of waste
• Communicate with colleagues: Discuss findings with physicians and other senior staff.
